Mako is owned and loved by Suzanne Eikanger-Stoops, now of Boring, Oregon. A red-papered German import(Mom and Dad are both Gekort for life), Mako arrived in Western Canada at age nine weeks. Mako received his Canadian Championship at ten months, owner handled, and was ranked in the Top Ten-a Multiple Best of Breed Winner/Group Placer. He won his first UCI-Best in Show at age eighteen months, already having won a UCI-Best Puppy in Show. Mako completed his American Championship at twenty-one months, resulting in a Number One ranking ARC System in January 1996.
